Answer: Determining Parallel Lines In Exercises 2528, determine whether any of the lines

Chapter 11, Problem 28

(choose chapter or problem)

In Exercises 25-28, determine whether any of the lines are parallel or identical.

\(L_{1}: \frac{x-3}{2}=\frac{y-2}{1}=\frac{z+2}{2}\)

\(L_{2}: \frac{x-1}{4}=\frac{y-1}{2}=\frac{z+3}{4}\)

\(L_{3}: \frac{x+2}{1}=\frac{y-1}{0.5}=\frac{z-3}{1}\)

\(L_{4}: \frac{x-3}{2}=\frac{y+1}{4}=\frac{z-2}{-1}\)

Text Transcription:

L_1: frac x-3 2=frac y-2 1=frac z+2 2

L_2: frac x-1 4=frac y-1 2=frac z+3 4

L_3: frac x+2 1=frac y-1 0.5=frac z-3 1

L_4: frac x-3 2=frac y+1 4=frac z-2 -1
