Solved: Divergence of a Cross Product In Exercises 73 and 74, find

Chapter 15, Problem 74

(choose chapter or problem)

In Exercises 73 and 74 , find div \((\mathbf{F} \times \mathbf{G})=\nabla \cdot(\mathbf{F} \times \mathbf{G})\).

\(\mathbf{F}(x, y, z)=x \mathbf{i}-z \mathbf{k}\)

\(\mathbf{G}(x, y, z)=x^{2} \mathbf{i}+y \mathbf{j}+z^{2} \mathbf{k}\)

Text Transcription:

(F x  G) = nabla cdot (F x G)

F(x, y, z) = xi - zk

G(x, y, z) = x^{2}i + yj + z^{2}k
