At 1815 feet tall, the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario is the worlds tallest self-supporting structure. An object is dropped from the top of the tower. (a) Use the position equation to write a mathematical model for the height of the object. (b) Complete the table. (c) From the table in part (b), determine the time interval during which the object reaches the ground. Numerically approximate the time it takes the object to reach the ground. (d) Find the time it takes the object to reach the ground algebraically. How close was your numerical approximation? (e) Use a graphing utility with the appropriate viewing window to verify your answer(s) to parts (c) and (d).
