Consider a football player who runs wind sprints on a football field. He begins at the 0-yard line and runs to the 1-yard line and then back to the 0-yard line. Then he runs to the 2-yard line and back to the 0-yard line, runs to the 3-yard line and back to the 0-yard line, and so on until he has reached the 10-yard line and returned to the 0-yard line. a. How many total yards does he run? b. How many total yards does he run if he reaches the n-yard line instead of the 10-yard line? c. How does his total distance run compare to that of a sprinter who simply starts at the 0-yard line and races to the n-yard line?
