Derive an approximate expression for the angle of twist by replacing the tapered shaft by n cylindrical shafts of equal length and of radius \(r_{i}=\left(n+i-\frac{1}{2}\right)) \((c / n)\), where \(i=1,2, \ldots, n\). Using for T, L, G, and c values of your choice, determine the percentage error in the approximate expression when (a) n = 4, (b) n = 8, (c) n = 20, and (d) n = 100.
