Solved: Show that the resistance required to achieve a heart rate H, in beats per

Chapter 7, Problem 7.106

(choose chapter or problem)

Show that the resistance required to achieve a heart rate H, in beats per minute, is given by the equation

\(R=\frac{-60}{H C \ln \left(1-\frac{V_{\max }}{V_{s}}\right)}\),

where C is the capacitance, \(V_{s}\). is the source voltage, and \(V_{\max }\) is the capacitor voltage at which discharge occurs .
