Percent of Population with Bachelors Degrees In 1998 the percent of people over 25 years old who had a bachelors degree or higher was 24.4%. By 2008, the percent of people over 25 with a bachelors degree or higher was 29.4%. Assume the rate of increase is constant. (a) Find a linear equation that relates the percent P of people over 25 with a bachelors degree or higher at any time t, where t is the year. (b) If the trend continues, estimate the percentage of people over 25 who will have a bachelors degree or higher by 2011.
