Clothing (Refer to in Section 5.1.) Steven owns a company that produces mens shirts, jackets, and pants, each of which require time for cutting and sewing. One shirt requires 10 minutes of cutting and 20 minutes of sewing, one jacket requires 20 minutes of cutting and 40 minutes of sewing, and one pair of pants requires 20 minutes of cutting and 30 minutes of sewing. Steven has 500 minutes of cutting time available each day and 900 minutes of sewing time. His company makes a profit of $19 for each shirt, $34 for each jacket, and $15 on each pair of pants. Steven wants to maximize his profit, but can produce at most 30 items in one day (a) Determine how many of each clothing item should be made. (b) What is the maximum daily profit?
