Pill P contains 5 mg of calcium and 2 mg of iron, while pill Q contains 10 mg of calcium and 1 mg of iron. If each pill P costs 3 cents and each pill Q costs 4 cents, how could Mr. Jones minimize the cost of adding the minerals to his diet? (a) Formulate a linear programming problem that models the problem. Be sure to identify all variables used. (b) Solve the linear programming problem. (c) Analyze the solution.
