[57] propose that a better approach to the pipe result, f Re 5 64, is achieved by replacing the hydraulic diameter Dh with 1A, where A is the area of the cross section. Test this idea for the isosceles triangles of Table 6.4. If time is short, at least try 108, 508, and 808. What do you conclude about this idea?
