Chapter 15, Problem 15-37

(choose chapter or problem)

Generate a computational domain to study compressible flow of air through a converging nozzle with atmospheric pressure at the nozzle exit (Fig. P1537). The nozzle walls may be approximated as inviscid (zero shear stress). Run several cases with various values of inlet pressure. How much inlet pressure is required to choke the flow? What happens if the inlet pressure is higher than this value? Discuss.
