The angle between two vectors (thought of as arrows with initial point atthe origin) in

Chapter 6, Problem 14

(choose chapter or problem)

The angle between two vectors (thought of as arrows with initial point atthe origin) in R2 or R3 can be defined geometrically. However, geometryis not as clear in Rn for n>3. Thus the angle between two nonzerovectors x; y 2 Rn is defined to bearccoshx; yikxkkyk;where the motivation for this definition comes from the previous exercise.Explain why the CauchySchwarz Inequality is needed to show that thisdefinition makes sense.
