First we have to export the layers from SD geology and Vegetation. Use select by attribute to select UnitName = Madison limestone in SD geology and select Owner = pvt in vegetation layer. The output image is shown below:

Open ArcMap: Launch ArcMap and add the necessary layers from the BlackHills folder and Sturgis83 geodatabase to your map. Make sure you have the "Vegetation" layer and other relevant layers loaded.
