Let P = {A, B,C} be a partition of a set S of integers, where A ={n S: n is odd and n > 0},B = {n S : n is odd and n < 0} and C = {n S : n is even and n > 0}. Prove that if x and y areelements of S belonging to distinct subsets in P, then x y is either odd, even and greater than 1, or evenand less than 1.
