Chapter 6, Problem 6.47

(choose chapter or problem)

Consider the flow of a liquid of viscosity and density down an inclined plate making an angle with the horizontal. Thefilm thickness is t and is constant. The fluid velocity parallel to theplate is given byVx = t2g cos 2 [1 (yt)2],where y is the coordinate normal to the plate. Calculate and for this flow and show that neither satisfies Laplaces equation. Why not?
