Fantastic teacher! Funny and super chill. I won't call the class easy because math is not easy, but he makes it easier to understand. Study your practice exam and you're test will be pretty much the exact same type of questions. I would defiantly recommend taking him. He was very good at teacher math. He knows what he is talking about. He makes the notes for you to print off. I really liked him. The class was in a big lecture hall though but he was good at controlling and maintaining the class. Also we didn't have to buy the book but you had to have an access code to do homework. ...Continue reading

Debter is a really great teacher. He will definitely help you if you need help. His lectures are definitely clear cut. He takes the time to answer question during lecture and will keep doing a problem (if needed) to help you understand. Sometimes lets class out early (always a bonus) but gets really mad when students leave or come in late. Drops one test, two quizzes, and three homework grades. ...Continue reading

Debter is awesome and hilarious! Notes are basically just solving problems. A lot of online work that you have to do but it definitely helps on the test! ...Continue reading

Professor Debter is very cool. I actually enjoyed math in his class, would definitely recommend him! You must attend class. Tests are somewhat tough, I mean, it's math so you have to try. Wears a lot of American Eagle shirts. ...Continue reading

I don't know why Professor Mikelson has bad reviews for Bio 3 on here, she was easy! Just got done with the summer course for it and she has helped me understand and better study biology than anyone before. Yes you have to study, but most definitely an A is obtainable. Attendance is mandatory because it is part of your grade. Favorite professor! ...Continue reading

Fast-paced class, she expects your attention and silence during class. She may or may not have time during class to answer questions go to her office. Participation and attendance are mandatory as is homework. Go to class. Do homework (I use it to study) and if there's an optional practice test, do it (About 2-3x's). You will do well. ...Continue reading

I personally hated this class. Her teaching is fine, as were the tests. What really bothered me was her. I felt that she talked down on us and treated the class as if i was in middle school still. Attendance is absolutely mandatory as is the hour in the math plaza and recitation. The points taken off for missing those can REALLY hurt you. Good luck Lectures are mandatory and so is Recitation plus a 1 hour lab requirement each week. 4 exams and a mandatory final. Quizzes are taken in your recitation class. Overall not a hard class, just a hard teacher. ...Continue reading

He is REALLY confusing! He makes a lot of mistakes when showing you how to work it out then goes back to correct himself after he has already confused you. I recommend taking a different professor. Very low tolerance for talking or phones. ...Continue reading

She is not a bad person in any way, shape, or form, but she is terrible at communicating with her students. She takes things very personal when you talk to her about any mistakes she may have made whether you are polite or not. She also cannot answer the questions on the quizzes because she doesn't have her notes. ...Continue reading

Despite all the negative reviews, I came into this class with a fairly optimistic outlook. I have never been more wrong. It's not that her class is difficult, because it isn't. This class is a mess. If you have questions, don't ask because she won't answer them. She's nice, and she cracks a couple of funny jokes, but this class is a disaster. ...Continue reading

Horrible teacher!! Do not take her for western humanities! If you forget to bring your book one day she makes you leave class. Gives quizes everyday over the reading. She does not do a good job at explaining the books in class and she will stand in front of the class and wait until someone answers her questions. ...Continue reading

I would not recommend this class to ANYONE. Parks lectures the entire class period even though he says he wants the class to participate. The papers you have to write are extremely long and super vague. He is the worst grader I have ever experienced(just gives grades by what he is feeling that day, not by grading criteria). Not an easy B. ...Continue reading

Professor Neff is one of the sweetest professors ever. She is very understanding and even tells you what is gonna be on tests and quizzes. I didn't read all of the books and got an A in the class. Just make sure you go to class because sometimes she gives extra credit on random days. Definitely take her for this course if you can. ...Continue reading

All he wants you to do is show up and try and he will be happy. Took him for Western Humanities I and don't regret it! He's hilarious and makes class interesting. All I ever did was read SparkNotes and passed with an A. He does give random mini-quizzes occasionally. Good study guides though and offers help if you need it. ...Continue reading

You will read about a novel a week and have a quiz on reading during each class. The tests are challenging (and practically your entire grade) - you have to study hard, but they are not terrible. Not an easy gen ed If you love to read - you'll do great! I loved her as a person and she would do anything to help you, but not an easy A (or B) ...Continue reading
