Definitely a professor I would take again. He's extremly opinionated but he cracks the class up. You don't have to give class your full attention, just show up. His reviews are really helpful and as long as you study what he says during them the night before, you'll pass the test, even if you never pay attention in class. Just don't sleep. ...Continue reading

Take it from someone who actually went to class and got an A: What you'll read in most of these is that he's humorous and goes off on tangents. He posts handouts of notes online to make it easy to follow along. His tests mostly come from the reading but he tells you which page to look at and what sections to read. show up every day. LOTS of extra credit oppurtunities. He keeps things funny and interesting ...Continue reading

Good class. The only grades you get are the tests, and random extra credit. I thought he was a good teacher and if you paid attention in class and took good notes you should be able to at least make a B or low A. You also only needed one of the books assigned but I forgot which one. ...Continue reading

His lectures are not the bets, but he is a good professor and does help his students. gives wonderful study guides for tests I will not lie this is quite true, however it made the experience all the more enjoyable. I learned my fair share as well. There are no quizzes or homeworks, only tests. This is college get used to it. ...Continue reading

Henderson talks A LOT. Pretty funny at times actually. His classes are lecture based and notes, he has an attendance policy so dont miss class that much. DO THE READING and the reviews he sends you and you will get at least a B. Dont give him a chance to embarrass you, because he willfall asleep, leave class early, etc He's not afraid of offending anybody, and can sometimes make inappropriate remarks. He's a good teacher and very clear, but really needs to organize his lectures. If he used powerpoint or something, it will help alot but he doesn't. Take advantage of the extra credit, he's generous with it. ...Continue reading

Henderson tends to ramble a lot in class, he incorporates his old college stories that sometimes leads us off task. He rambles on with all kinds of stories. He's pretty funny. His class is actually pretty easy and his study guides are long, but very helpful. This is college after all, and a little bit of reading doesn't really hurt. Offers minimal extra credit, but you shouldn't need it. Would take again. His Posi2320 class gets my top priority next semester. ...Continue reading

Henderson is hilarious, but he's pretty intense. We're wrapping up the end of the semester and I've learned a lot. Henderson is a cool and wise person. He also has a good sense of humor. This class was not as bad as I thought it would be. Most of your material will come from the text. Freshman if you're reading this, it's not too late. Good class, just worship the study guides. He's very rude and can be a real jerk. Once a girl asked a rather dumb question and he totally embarrassed her. I'll admit what she said was silly, but his repeated teasing of her was totally uncalled for. He thought he was being clever and funny, but I felt he was just immature. ...Continue reading

It's extremely hard to take notes in his class. He's entertaining and interesting to listen to during lecture, and yes he does go off on random tangents sometimes. He offered a very generous amount of extra credit, probably to make up for him being late to class all the time. You'll have to do some reading, but this class is definitely doable. As others have mentioned he goes off into long tangents that seem to have little to do with his lecture topic half the time. That being said, the guy clearly knows his subject, and gives lots of extra credit. Don't take his class if you get offended easily, especially if you're a female, or religious. ...Continue reading

Attendence is required, miss more than 3 days you get a grade letter nocked off. Little bit of reading, but I only did it before the tests. I recommend taking him. Oh, but he gives extra credit which you shouldn't need unless you have as much of a problem listening to his drivel as I do. He reads straight from the notes he gives you and from the book, so there's no point in going to class except for attendance purposes. ...Continue reading

He gets off topic very easily, he will call you out for even looking at your phone, and you won't learn much from him. He talks about political science for less than half of the class and then you are left to teach yourself the rest. He is also very rude, and is not afraid to call you out in the middle of class. ...Continue reading

Henderson is hilarious and makes a lot of jokes, but that is all he does. His tests are a joke, so if you're the type of person who can just read the textbook and ace the test, he's not bad. I had a horrible time trying to actually concentrate on his lectures, though. You can miss 7 classes max. . hard to follow and keep up with. tests are hard but appreciative of the fact that he gives study guides. dont recommend taking this class for political science and definently dont get it at 8 am ...Continue reading

His lectures make no sense he goes off on random tangents that have no purpose. he went off topic a lot throughout the whole semester. you'll have to take notes and definitely read the book to pass. find people to study with, learn the stuff and you should be fine. on the bright side. . i did learn some stuff :-/ Notes are extremely difficult to take because he doesn't use powerpoint, and constantly strays from the topic to yap about his political ideas. One test question was actually In your professor's opinion... :/ ...Continue reading

He is probably one of the worst professors I have ever had. Awful teacher. Rambles a lot and isn't clear about what is the test. His layout for test are hard to understand. But gives extra credit which definitely helps. Don't take at 8 AM ...Continue reading

Nice guy. He doesn't teach well at all and it is pretty much up to you to teach yourself everything. He gives out tons of long handouts that do not make sense most of the time. All tests are based on these handouts. Really uptight about attendance. Can be very rude. Always goes off topic about personal stories ...Continue reading

great guy not a great teacher, very disorganized. He babbles about his personal life for 85% of the class then reads straight out of the book or off the notes he posts online for our lecture. When the class asked for a study guide he said study everything so we asked which areas we should study more and he responded with all. But you can miss 7 classes w/out penalty ...Continue reading

When he showed up to class he spent most of it talking about his time in college. All he talks about is sports and dating younger women- really kind of creepy. Could attend a movie night for extra credit and even though there was another date available he would not count the second date if you could not attend the first one. Definitely favors the athletes. ...Continue reading
