I was pretty so-so about POL271. Tests aren't easy, but if you go to class and pay attention to his lectures, the answers are there. Posts his notes and useful links on his website. At the beginning of the smester, he was a bit unorganized, hut it was understandable since he is new to Miami. He brings lots of enthusiasm to the topics disussed, and I can tell he is very knowledgeable about world politics and international law. I like his class a lot, and I am planning to take him again. ...Continue reading

Dr. Attar's class was very interesting. His lectures are okay, and you have to read the book for the tests. Just show up to class and get the practice questions for the exam. ...Continue reading

World Politics. His lectures are very very boring and he has a pretty thick accent so it's even more of an incentive not to pay attention. But he practically gives you all of the questions and answers to each exam. Only one big group project. Tests aren't really based off powerpoints. Read the book and it's an easy A. Very insightful, has a lot of knowledge of the topic, but has a very thick accent which makes lectures difficult to understand. His test questions also suffer from the language barrier. Do the readings and class is optional ...Continue reading

Wonderful teacher, take the class, challenge yourself. ...Continue reading

Dr. Neack is a very interesting person. If you aren't prepared to work then don't take her class.
