It's not worth all the money you're paying. And when you're trapped on campus in the middle of a cornfield... Yeah. I was lucky to find my niche, but if I had the same monetary chances elsewhere, I might have chosen someplace with more opportunities for my major. ...Continue reading

If you're a commuter student you have a half + mile walk up hill before you even get to the campus. Southeastern Ohio isn't ideal location, but the campus is beautiful. Mix of nice and stuck up students. Its a safe town, and the night life is really cool. ...Continue reading

I have enjoyed my time so far at Miami U. It has a bit of a party school rep, and it doesn't disappoint. There's always something going on. Didn't realize how greek it was when I was coming in, and it's huge, so that's something to consider. I think that the size is a really nice balance and that the location is a great college-town feel. Hardly any scholarships or financial aid, just gives an overall feeling of wanting to suck your money out of your wallet and give you nothing in return. If I could leave, I would. ...Continue reading

I have visited a lot of my friends at other schools like Syracuse, Penn, and Ohio State and Miami is without a doubt the most fun school I've been to. It is a little expensive, but you get exactly what you pay for! I could not imagine going anywhere else, and will be sad to leave when I graduate! Professors care about the students, grounds are immaculate, tons of entertain. options and support! Very organized website:) ...Continue reading

Really great school, I knew I wanted to come here as soon as I visited and I wasn't disappointed. If you only hear about us because of Greek life, don't worry! There are many more opportunities other than the Greek aspects :) It's been easy finding friends and I have already been offered a job right after college. GREAT reputation, top 2 or 3 in the state. The campus is beautiful! There is a HUGE amount of student orgs. TONS of events. Plenty intramurals. Internet good, WiFi BAD. Safety isn't bad, but it could be better! Miami makes Oxford, so very small town. Cincy isn't far though. A LOT to keep students good, especially come finals!! ...Continue reading

Yeah, his lectures can be a little dense but honestly Walt is such a great professor. Seriously one of, if not the best professors I've ever had, and this is my senior year at Miami. It helps that I was genuinely interested in the subject he was teaching but Walt was hilarious, passionate, and very helpful, and the class is not super difficult. I 100% recommend him!!! Dr. Adams is a really good teacher but she is an insane grader, specifically on the outlines. You only get two skips throughout the semester and you don't need the text book AT ALL.
