Very, very reputable school Does not prepare you for a career teaches you to work hard. You really are just a number. The bell curve will not always help you. Register with the Access centre asap. Most of Professors do not teach, they research-you do the work. You learn how to work-this is 'worthwhile, but I have always been a hard worker. ...Continue reading

People are generally very competitive and averse to friends Courses, nowadays, are taught by inexperienced TAs- Professors spend more time on research. Overall quality of education has seriously deteriorated. Still a good school for math, engineering and the sciences. Not humanities. Get a great education at a 'more' affordable school. And if you have a disability, good luck appealing! ...Continue reading

This is a really great school. If you're going to any other program, this university is going to kill your spirit. The life science program specifically is soul-killing as it is filled with thousands of competitive doctor-hopefuls. Obviously you have to work really heard and pretty much drop your social life if you want to get 80s and 90s since the standards are so high. The campus is AMAZING, just lacks HEALTHY food options ...Continue reading

Do not go to U of T. The cut-throat environment destroys the university experiece. You don't go to university for a challenge, but to learn something. This university will destroy your health and social life. It has a cold atmoshpere and doesn't have an interest in preparing you for your career. The professors are researchs and can't teach. ...Continue reading

Unless you go out of your way to hunt down teachers and make them learn your name, most of the profs here don't care about their students AT ALL. With that said, there are definitely some excellent teachers as well. Just not the majority. Also, you're a slave to the bell curve system, not how well you do, but how much is curved up or down. ...Continue reading

Not an easy subject to study, but the prof really cares about everyone understanding and learning the material. You'll earn that A. ...Continue reading
