    Weekends are fun and everyone is nice for the most part. You have small enough classes so that your professors know you by name and will help you out. Professors seem to try hard for you to succeed. A lot of resources for you to succeed, like the library. You may not think its as fun as most campuses, but there are opportunity to have fun with some really cool people. ...Continue reading

    Overall great campus. I am an education major and have seen incredible professors (and only a few bad ones) through my 3 years. I have had an immense amount of opportunities however, i can easily see how students can slip through without realizing those opportunities.     the school is all right I chose Clarion because I wanted to be about an hour from school due to a part time job I couldn't give up. I enjoy most of the professors here, my blind pick roommates in Reinhard Village were great, met some good friends in my core classes. Most people are pretty friendly here. ...Continue reading

    I traveled from out of state to be here and I am not disappointed. It's a smaller campus, which I like, making it more intimate and close-knit. There's lots of opportunities and choices for intramurals, clubs, social events, and courses. The food is a money trap and never good.     This campus is small, but you sometimes won't realize someone from high school even went to the same college because you might not even see them.     a few years ago they put an email out for kids that didnt have any warm clothes for a winter and sent them to a room with one of the lost in found boxes! This school lacks extracurricular activities that most other schools offer. All activities are academic. Most students live local and go home on the weekends regularly. ...Continue reading

    Everything was great until they started offering required courses in the 7 week format. There was something going on a lot. After that, it went down hill from there. The food is absolutely dreadful. There are some professors who are helpful. Others that aren't worth thousands of dollars. Diversity sucks. Too much construction. People here are different.     MBA part time online student and disappointed with this program. No real social life, CA's are prison guards. For full-time students this isn't an issue for for part-time students it has the potential to be disastrous. Only offered two required courses as 7 week courses, one then the other which meant FA refunds were not to be processed until end of October. Grrr! ...Continue reading

    The university is pushing online courses in the school of business . In order to build more (surely unused) student housing, they cut out the music department and some languages.     I started school 3 years after high school. some professor's will make the class the easiest class you could ever take or some will make you wanna drop out. I hate it that everyone goes home on the weekends its just stupid. But all in all Clarion is good because in class your not a number but a name.     Clarion... my freshman year to say the least was fun. Don't go there Transfered out after my sophomore year. The friends you make are great. Don't get me wrong.     I had the time of my life at Clarion. However, if you're from a big city like me, it was a little different. Although it didn't take long for me to adjust, it is a totally different lifestyle.     While the college promises many oportunities for clubs and frats, but hardly any clubs, but always more frats. Since my first year here, I've seen more than a handful of frats pop up. Classes cater toward one learning style, reading. Very little lecture provided. Professors do not have any experience in their fields other than teaching.     It's a very nice area. It was small enough to meet people and become friends but large enough not to literally be at the same event every weekend.     Clarion is in the middle of upgrading and adding many more facilities. I can not wait to see the facilities once they are all done. Some many greats went to this school also such as John Calipari (Kentucky basketball coach), Kurt Angle (Olympic gold medalist wrestling) , Frank Edgar (UFC light weight cham) and Larry Richert (host of KDAKA) Sometimes wish it was closer to a city, but the view of the nature are amazing.     As a transfer from another school, I can honestly say that I would only recommend Clarion for those only wanting to receive an education, and not an overall college experience.
