Love the campus, so pretty and I felt completely safe. I've been to two other state schools and before I didn't think there was a difference between private and state but there definitely IS! best psych professors ever! and students who really care about school and having a meaningful life ...Continue reading

Arcadia is what you make of it. There are always things to do as long as you are willing to look for them. The professors aren't the hardcore professors that you hear about in high school, but they are to be taken seriously as they are mostly very knowledgeable and respectable. The only downside is that this school is not very commuter-friendly if you live outside walking distance, but I don't mind coming just for classes and then leaving. I guess I'd like more friends here, but I'm ok. ...Continue reading

Arcadia has a really strong reputation when it comes to study abroad, and a majority of students who attend will study abroad at some point in their Arcadia career. Very good academic environment, small classes and pretty good teachers. Freshman can go abroad. Social life here is meh and absolutely no parties on campus. Not at all a bad thing though. Food is terrible. Location is quaint. Library can be noisy and constantly full. Most of the professors are amazing though. A few are useless but that's anywhere. ...Continue reading

Food sucks, but after first year you get a kitchen to good for yourself. The library closes at the worst time on the weekends. The staff really does care about their students. But it is a suitcase school, even though there are great events on campus during the weekend a lot of people go home anyway. I should mention that I had to make the opportunity happening here. Arcadia has pre-grad Art Therapy program I would consider a complete failure (in the year of 2017). I had to choose different path to get to that goal. ...Continue reading

Honestly, the best part of this university is studying abroad. The campus is growing in population, but not in amenities or the qualities of the minimal ones already provided. The room and board options are far to expensive for the amount of quality they are - low if you were wondering, very low. No campus culture. No walkable destinations. ...Continue reading

This school is amazing for my specific major. There are plenty f things to do, but this is not a party school. It is a small liberal arts university. Arcadia is a fabulous school for international education and study abroad. Not a lot of school spirit but everyone is very accepting and open minded. The faculty is amazing and has a true interest in student progress. Avoid the dinning hall unless you live on a toilet. Overall it's a really good school. I plan on returning after I finish 2 yrs at community. The professors I had were great and I made a lot of good friends and acquaintances. If you're looking for the college experience then be somewhat disappointed. The staff does not care about you and they will do anything to make your life difficult. As far as social lives go, the only one you will have here is off campus or at home on the weekends lime everyone else. If you make it past the first year, it gets kind of better. I'm in Sociology and all of the professors in the department are wonderful and genuinely care about you. I never wanted the social aspect of college, so for me I love Arcadia. Campus is boring, yet beautiful. There are cliques because it is a small school. Living on campus is ridiculously expensive. Live off campus. ...Continue reading

It's fun if you make it fun. Large portions of the campus leave on the weekends, so a social life on the weekends is yours to create. The food could use work, that is for sure. I came in as a Transfer student (Bio major) & my advisors & professors are actually competent, which is a huge relief.
