Best Campus. Great school. Filled with professors who actually care about your success as a student. Was refreshing. LOVED this school! Teachers have been incredible and some have even gone out of their way for me. Great for its price, all staff and faculty are super helpful. the only downfall about this campus is the food options, especially if you dont have dining dollars. ...Continue reading

TWU is what you make it. Much better & cheaper than any campus I have attended/visited. It is small & quiet w/ beautiful landscape. The only problem is the housing situation. It is a small school and many people are starting to attend it puts upperclassmen out which isn't a bad thing since we all got to grow up. I would recommend this college to everyone. It's small enough, but big enough at the same time. ...Continue reading

Great campus, small class size, actual professors, nothing like UNT. Located in medical center. Perfect for health degrees. School is nice and well respected. The school is small so it is easy to feel like you are apart of a community. The professors are almost always available when needed. Great resources for most subjects. Opportunities are out there, really good ones if you look a bit harder or are in good standing with faculty. Not much social life happening, but there's UNT 10 minutes away for that. Great atmosphere, super welcoming towards freshman. ...Continue reading

I wish I transferred somewhere else because this was not the school for me. People here are stuck up towards those they don't know from their previous high schools. All we have are intramural sports (no football) and a blood drive truck. Starting on Wednesdays, majority of students leave and it feels dead. ...Continue reading

I love TWU, even as a more mature student I bond well with all the freshman. The high percentage of commuters and transfer students creates a VERY studious atmosphere. Housing and Res life are working very hard to improve the social aspect on campus. There are opportunities to be social, but even on-campus students tend to leave town on the weekends Most students come for nursing, PT,OT and graduate programs. We have a big commuter base, so the weekends are pretty empty but I love it. The campus feels like home in a way. TWU is one of the safest campuses I know. Free printing is awesome here. cute, charming, small school. lowry woods area is SO pretty, the rec center is cool, and the library is BEAUTIFUL. a lot of people (and me) commute and transfer (also me) here so social life is kind of meh unless you live on campus ($$$) or if youre one of those special people that makes friends easily. The gym is awesome as well but can get crowded at certain times when people go there to socialize more than workout. Downside is most of the girls on campus are socially awkward and it's hard to make friends. UNT would be better for social life but can't beat the academics here. ...Continue reading

If you like arts but are not an art major, then you should go some where else. If you're trying to get financial aid though, schedule an appointment and don't bother going through Brandy (front desk of financial aid). She's stupid with a capital EVIL. Grounds people are really nice too, but I wish they would find sometime OTHER than 7 am to mow. Don't eat on campus. ...Continue reading

I love this school and I plan on becoming a Professor their once i graduate. I absolutely love it here! The campus is BEAUTIFUL. For me this size is nice, not too big or too small. They offer so much you simply have to go for it. I feel like it doesn't get as much credit as it it should. It is definitely not a party school. A type of school where there is little distractions and you'll be able to get good grades. ...Continue reading

I suggest taking lecture, not online. Too much information for one person to deal with. especially since she is VERY scattered. We didn't have all of our information for the first exam until week 3. Exam was week 4. She had duplicates for lots of information. plus, there were multiple issues with exams. The only grade is are the 4 exams. ...Continue reading

The tests were kinda hard and they are all that make up your grade in the end. Somethings that weren't covered in class were on the tests so its a lot of information but its important to read the text. Attendance is optional to my knowledge but the current events talked about are on the tests. ...Continue reading

She is the director and you never see her. The TA's teach the lab, but she controls the rubrics and practical and quiz keys. Some of the things you get counted off for are LUDICROUS. I think she makes it so hard because she doesn't even know the students and doesn't care if we all fail. Making an A in A&P lab 2 is slim to none. ...Continue reading

As with most freshman level courses, attendance is mandatory. Freshmen tend to benefit from that sort of structure. And anyways - you'll never want to miss one of this guy's lectures. I always thought history was totally boring - stupid sounding names and dates that I would forget in a month's time. Dr. Travis brings PASSION to the subject. ...Continue reading

Dr. Hoye can be a little boring, but the class was pretty good. I never used the textbook and have an A. You have to go to class so you will know what will be on the test. He does not give study guides, but you don't need them, he tells you exactly what will be on the exams. He will also drop one low test grade if you do well on all the other exams! He's very knowledgable. It's a pretty easy class. Go to the study sessions before exams though because they basically tell you exactly what is on the exams! The final is comprehensive, but the old material is exactly off the prior exams. Easy breezy! ...Continue reading
