Transferred out after 2 years, honestly should have after the first. Most of my friends have seriously considered transferring - that can't be normal at every university. Liked the classes and my major, but the social life is unbearable if you are not in greek, plain and simple. Feels like a 4 year party vacation paid for by rich parents with all the greek events literally every week. If you don't immediately like the appeal of that, go to a public ...Continue reading

I love it here! You get a big college feel, with great sports and school spirit, with the small college aspect. With only 8,500 undergrads, you get to know your professors on a first name basis and deeper personal level. Class sizes here are about 20-40 students. I couldn't be happier anywhere else. ...Continue reading

The experience in the school of music is extremely frustrating. There are cliques everywhere. Socially, I feel like I'm back in middle school. Avoid food at all costs. Coming in from a prep-school, I've found my time here to be pretty easy. The classes are good for the most part, and the staff here is fantastic, especially the chancellor! My only complaint is the massive amount of greeks. Don't come if you don't want to join a sorority/fraternity, because you won't have fun. Never enough classes for your major or to fulfill core. ...Continue reading

If you do not join a sorority/fraternity or get involved with a religious group, there are not a ton of social opportunities. You definitely get what you pay for. Greek life basically dominates the campus, so that really can influence the experience here. There's quite a bit of partying here, but people stay in too. Don't be fooled though, academics can be really tough and studying is huge too. Overall, great school. Lots of pride here. Go frogs!! The internet is really bad. The food is okay. The BLUU is not the best, but it is decent. There are tons of restaurants to eat at on campus/nearby to campus that are good. ...Continue reading

It is a great school with an abundance of opportunities but prepare to drown in schoolwork. Professors are mostly great as well. But international students are absolutely not very much welcomed by students in here. They can be very rude and arrogant. TCU horned frog for life!!! Professors are great all around. If you're not in Greek life, like myself, you might feel a bit intimidated, since a lot of students are, but I found a great group of friends, and I've had the most fun in my life.
