I love SDSU. It is filled with people who are beautiful inside and out. The thing I like most about State is that there aren't too many snobs running around campus, (unlike some colleges I have been to). Overall it's just a laid-back, happy, and inviting campus. Teachers are good ...Continue reading

SDSU is a great school and very underestimated. I transferred in from Mesa and am constantly on campus, love it here! The school spirit is great, lots of awesome teachers, buildings/classrooms are (usually) pretty nice, foods good - lots of different options! We have a beautiful Campus, great professors, and awesome people. Location is perfect, you can get anywhere in San Diego without much of a hassle. People are so friendly, I can honestly say I haven't met one mean person at state! Professors care about their students, show interest in classes, go to office hours, and you're golden! ...Continue reading

Greek life runs this campus, which can be a little isolating. Its really fun especially as a freshman. But if you want to get into these parties I recommend rushing a sorority or frat because its much harder to get in if you're not in one. However, the academics are great too, good professors here. The location and weather is the best. ...Continue reading

School is very complicated. If you're a party animal/extrovert, this is a party school, so come here. Introverts, DO NOT go here. The food choices suck, and are expensive. Some places on campus smell. People here are kind of judgy and unfriendly. Professors are chill. Classes are relatively easy. It's an OK school. I don't have a problem with that per se but I feel like teachers have kind of given up on their students. I really wish I was at a school where people like to learn and study and take pride in being smart. Idk. SDSU was probably a bad choice for me but it really depends on the person. ...Continue reading

SDSU NEEDS more hours for their libraries during fri and sat. Most of my profs are honorable, but the school is pretty disorganized and it's hard to get help from anyone. School is also in a boring and hot area of the city. Maybe it's a West Coast thing but even though I had good professors I wouldn't recommend this school to my friends back home bc of administration. ...Continue reading

Great university overall. Great professors. Low tuition. What more could you ask for&#63 Parking can be a bit difficult, but public transit to and from campus is pretty good. Nothing beats going to school in SD!! Teachers are amazing and very enthusiastic about what they teach. There are more than enough social activities on and around campus. amazing weather, students, campus. We know how to have the most amount of fun as well as achieve academically. Great place to be with lots of things to do and people to meet if you make the effort. I think the Art building needed an update 10 years ago. Pretty good school, don't expect to be going to the beach a lot and feel like you're a beach bum cause it's a lot different being inland than by the beach especially the weather. The campus is beautiful, the weather is perfect year-round, and the people are some of the best you'll ever meet. Most of the professors I've had weren't too bad either, and there are plenty of opportunities for students to get involved. 1st was from UCSD. SDSU courses are generally taught at a easier level. This doesnt mean you learn less but that they dont bog you down with as much busy work. Busy work can be a good thing sometimes but some students learn more when they have time to think freely. Ultimately, college is what you make of it. ...Continue reading

Has a bad reputation of being party school but is improving a ton. The food options are a lot and a variety. The library is great for all your needs and open often 24/7 or some parts. It really is very central to all things SD, you got SeaWorld and the beach, malls, movies, tj etc. It's a gorgeous and most of the people are beautiful and ambitious. The only thing I did not like about the campus was how exclusive it can be if you aren't part of Greek Life. They have a strong influence in the school's associated body, activities and night life. Other than that, it really is a dream. ...Continue reading

Awesome TA for comm. You'll have a lot of choices when it comes to them they're your small section instructors. Choose carefully - they're the ones who watch and grade your speeches! Kevin is very nice and forgiving towards grading, and you'll have a good time in his small section. Don't skip too much you might miss something! ...Continue reading

I was a bit scared because I was told of the horror stories about all BA300 classes and its crappy format. Doesn't teach anything, so once you get your attendance points leave. Exams were ok but the final was extremely difficult. 10x harder than the tests. You only have one hour to finish it so make sure you use the time right. ...Continue reading

What can I say, I LOVED her class. She was amazing for abnormal. Exams are very straightforward. Only thing that was eh were the 2 papers required. But lectures are enjoyable, and exams are super easy! Attendance is not mandatory and she posts lectures on blackboard She had an amazing teaching style, it was awesome. She's new but that wasn't a problem. She is very straightforward about the test and the papers were no big deal (Plenty of time to get them done and clear criteria). She keeps it funny and still gets you to remember the material. Take her, truly amazing prof. ...Continue reading

First of all, yes there is a lot of reading, two, expected a test on every class meeting they aren't pop quizzes and you have more than enough time to prepare for them so SUCK IT UP. She is absolutely the BEST to take for 300. She doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to the two in class tests and the final. Everything is crystal clear so long as you READ. She knows that 3 hours for a class is ridiculous so she tries to let you out early. GO TO TH FINAL REVIEW it is extremely helpful&worth it Prof Patrick is cool and her lectures are interesting but the online lectures are by two other professors, one of which is just impossible to listen to.
