Random digits. The table of random digits (Table B) was produced by a randomAPPLETmechanism that gives each digit probability 0.1 of being a 0.(a) What proportion of the first 50 digits in the table are 0s? This proportion is anestimate, based on 50 repetitions, of the true probability, which in this case isknown to be 0.1.(b) The Probability applet can imitate random digits. Set the probability of headsin the applet to 0.1. Check Show true probability to show this value on thegraph. A head stands for a 0 in the random digit table and a tail stands for anyother digit. Simulate 200 digits (40 at a timedont click Reset). If you keptgoing forever, presumably you would get 10% heads. What was the result of your200 tosses?
