The BemSex-Role Inventory (BSRI) is a personality test that gives separate ratings forfemale and male stereotypes, both on a scale of 1 to 7. A sample of 148 malegeneral managers of three-star and four-star hotels had mean BSRI masculinityscore x = 5.91.6 The standard deviation of masculinity scores for all adult malesis = 0.79. Assume that this is also true in the population of male hotelmanagers. Give a 99% confidence interval for the mean masculinity score of allmale managers of hotels in this class.
