Making perfect square
\({y}^{2} +6y+2x+1 =0\)
\(\left( y+3 \right)^{2}+2x+1-9 =0\)
\(\left( y+3 \right) ^2 =-2x+8\)
\(=-2\left( x-4 \right)\ \ \ ...\ \left( 1 \right)\)
Let Y=y+3 and X=x-4.
Then equation (1) becomes as follows.
