You ordinarily pour water from a full glass into an empty glass simply by placing the full glass above the empty glass and tipping. Have you ever poured air from one glass to another? The procedure is similar. Lower two glasses in water, mouths downward. Let one fill with water by tilting its mouth upward. Then hold the mouth of the water filled glass downward above the air-filled glass. Slowly tilt the lower glass and let the air escape, filling the upper glass.
