We know,

Conversion factor = 6.023 x 1023 atoms/ 1 mol

Therefore,

5.8 mol of Hg contains = 5.8 mol x 6.023 x 1023 atoms/ 1 mol

= 34.93 x 1023 atoms

Thus, 5.8 mol of Mercury contains 34.93 x 1023 of Hg atoms.
