Some data obtained by C. E. Marcellari2 on the height x and diameter y of shells appear in the following table. If we consider the model

then the slope \(\beta_{1}\) is the ratio of the mean diameter to the height. Use the following data and the result of Exercise 11.10 to obtain the least-squares estimate of the mean diameter to height ratio.
