The points are (0,0) and (4,2)

\(\begin{aligned}
d & =\sqrt{\left(x_{2}-x_{2}\right)^{2}+\left(y_{2}-y_{2}\right)^{2}} \\
d & =\sqrt{(4)^{2}-(2)^{2}} \\
d & =2 \sqrt{5}=4.47
\end{aligned}\)

The distance between the points is \(2 \sqrt{5}=4.47 m\)
