Throughout the history of exploring nature which was then evolved as science, all of the great thinkers in different parts of the world had tried to explain why observable nature works how it does.

Indian thinkers like Aryabhatta, Kannada, Bhaskaracharya, Greek thinkers like Plato, Pythagoras, Galileo, Aristotle and others had tried to observe closely how nature works. Observations were made and explanations were provided. Rotation of earth, position of earth, why shadows are created, concept of time, stars, heavenly bodies were prominent questions.
