Answer: Determining a Rate Law from Initial Rate DataThe

Chapter , Problem 2PE

(choose chapter or problem)

The following data were measured for the reaction of nitric oxide with hydrogen:

                \(2 N O(g)+2 H_{2}(g) \rightarrow N_{2}(g)+2 H_{2} O(g)\)

(a) Determine the rate law for this reaction. (b) Calculate the rate constant.

(c) Calculate the rate when \([\mathrm{NO}]=0.050 \mathrm{M}\) and \(\left[H_{2}\right]=0.150 M\).

Equation transcription:

Text transcription:

2 N O(g)+2 H_{2}(g) rightarrow N_{2}(g)+2 H_{2} O(g)

[{NO}]=0.050{M}

[H_{2}]=0.150 M
