Design a 3-bit binary up-down counter which functions the same as the up-down counter of Figure 12-18 and Figure 12-19. Use a 3-bit register of D flip-flops, a 3-bit adder, and one OR gate. (If you are clever enough, you can do it without the OR gate.) (Hint: To subtract one, add 111.)
