(Source: U.S. Department of Agriculture) A model for the data is given by (a) Find the total differential of the model. (b) A dairy industry forecast for a future year is that per capita consumption of light and skim milks will be gallons and that per capita consumption of reduced-fat milk will be gallons. Use to estimate the maximum possible propagated error and relative error in the prediction for the consumption of whole milk.
