Chapter 19, Problem 19.12

(choose chapter or problem)

The kinematic viscosity, v, of a fluid is defined as \(\eta / \rho\), where \(\rho\) is the mass density. What are the SI units of kinematic viscosity? Confirm that the drainage times through a narrow tube are governed by the kinematic viscosity by referring to the Poiseuille equation for fluid flow (eqn 21.25) and hence confirm eqn 19.24.
