Show that the distance between the point \(\left(x_1,\ y_1\right)\) and the line Ax + By + C = 0 is

\(\text { Distance }=\frac{\left|A x_{1}+B y_{1}+C\right|}{\sqrt{A^{2}+B^{2}}}\)
