The following argument, that 0 = 1, is incorrect. Describe the error.

\(\begin{aligned} 0 &=0+0+0+\cdots \\ &=(1-1)+(1-1)+(1-1)+\cdots \\ &=1+(-1+1)+(-1+1)+\cdots \\ &=1+0+0+\cdots \\ &=1 \end{aligned}\)

Text Transcription:

0 = 0 + 0 + 0 + cdots

   = (1 - 1) + (1 - 1) + (1 - 1) + cdots

   = 1 + (-1 + 1) + (-1 + 1) + cdots

   = 1 + 0 + 0 + cdots

   = 1
