Solved: Power Electrical power is given by where is voltage and is resistance

Chapter 13, Problem 37

(choose chapter or problem)

Electrical power is given by \(P=E^{2} / R\), where E is voltage and R is resistance. Approximate the maximum percent error in calculating power if 120 volts is applied to a 2000-ohm resistor and the possible percent errors in measuring and are 3% and 4%, respectively.
