Moreover, there’s a reverse proportionality between dimensions and energy: the bigger the dimension, the smaller the energy and vice-versa Step 2 of 3 Rb and Br have larger size respect to K and Cl, so we can expect that RbBr has a lower value of lattice energy than KCl. Same thing for the other couple of molecules: Sr has a larger size than Cao, so we can expect that SrO has a lower lattice energy value respect to CaO
