Chapter 14, Problem P14.10-9

(choose chapter or problem)

The input to a circuit is the voltage \(v_{\mathrm{s}}\). The output is the voltage \(v_{\mathrm{o}}\). The step response of the circuit is

\(v_{\mathrm{o}}(t)=\left(1-e^{-20 t}(\cos (4 t)+0.5 \sin (4 t))\right) u(t) \mathrm{V}\)

Determine the steady-state response of the circuit when the input is

\(v_{\mathrm{s}}(t)=12 \cos (4 t) \mathrm{V}\)
