Welcome to the city of snow. My choice to attend has been the best one I've ever made (even in my short 19 years). The opportunities are endless and the campus environment is like no other. Yes we get a lot of snow, but the students know how to make the best of it & the fun is never diminished. Syracuse offers the best college experience around. ...Continue reading

Its an amazing campus, only real downfall is the weather. I don't do Greek life or really anything social on campus outside my major, but I still like it here. I love my major (social work). Weather only good for about the first 2 weeks of class and the last 2 weeks of class. The city of Syracuse is generally depressing and feels like its stuck in the 90s. The bar scene is surprisingly weak. Reliable bars with undergrads are often spread out and often hard to reach by foot. I don't mind the weather, but it definitely affects peoples mood. So cold. Help me. I lived in upstate New York but I never had to walk in the cold this much. I WASN'T PREPARED. The sidewalks aren't all paved, and you fall, and it sucks. Get snow boots and a ski jacket and lots of scarves. I also hate how far my dorm is from the libraries, but I suppose it can't be helped much. ...Continue reading
