I think it's a great campus. Amazing president (Natalicio). Need more food options. Joining research labs for biology majors is extremely easy. Some clubs don't take their organizations seriously because it's a commuter school, but there are quite a few to choose from. Doesn't have a great reputation among people from El Paso, but is great and affordable. ...Continue reading

Office coordination and employee are horrible its like being in the army again! However, it is a commuter school so the food options are basic and not healthy. Your paper work is lost and no one knows the right information. Those many horrible employees make the good workers and their ability be forgotten. The guy from records didnt even know the deadline to pay for the graduation fee and they process and post that information ...Continue reading

If you have no direction and don't know where you are going, then I would not recommend UTEP. Probably the most beautiful college campus I have ever been on. It is mostly a pedestrian campus, which gets pretty hot much of the year. As most colleges, it has a real liberal bias, but not too bad to conservatives. Some of the buildings are high tech and modern, but, you end up in the old ones all over campus too much. It doesn't happen very often but it's a little frustrating. ...Continue reading

Attended this University for a graduate chemistry degree. This place needs to be closed permanently or just turn into a huge community college. Mediocre professors and resources. Better of at a technical. Charge you for items that don't even pertain to you. They highly adapt to mexican nationals. If you want an education worth your money go somewhere else. Most teachers are horrible and they wonder why grades and the reputation is so bad. I have honestly only had one good professor at this school. The rest are really disorganized and have test averages below 50% how does that reflect good learning&#63&#63&#63&#63&#63&#63&#63 ...Continue reading

Activities on campus are not involved much, especially the academic activites/clubs. Party wise, it sucks. Fraternities and sororities are practically non existent. People here already have their clicks so there is almost no interactions outside there friends causing outsiders to feel isolated A lot of the classrooms are dirty as well as equipment such as computers in the library. They should clean them a lot more. There are always rude people coughing everywhere (I know the school can't directly do anything about this). ...Continue reading
