UVU was the best choice I ever made. Very diverse student population, lots of interesting classes offered, the buildings are beautiful, campus is gorgeous, and the quad is just amazing. Tons of food options, cheap-ish tuition (relatively). BEST SCHOOL EVER!! GO WOLVERINES! Small classrooms. Right off the freeway. ...Continue reading

Graduated from here and went to an out of state private school for my masters due to UVU still developing the degree I wanted. They make it easy and efficient to take care of all students especially at the capacity it's at. I have attended UVU for 4 years and have had great experiences with fellow students, faculty and staff--no complaints to date. I am a non-traditional student,so wondered if I would enjoy/fit in when I first came back to college. I am respected by peers and professors. ...Continue reading

Their math department sucks if you don't take math within the two years yet the retake test and pay more money for a classes you've already passed and they're not the easiest math classes to pass compared to other schools. Not really the case. You can get a good quality education here for less tuition. The best teachers are in the humanities/art/philosophy departments. ...Continue reading

The campus is nice and the school is convenient and fairly priced It's not the best university in town but it's affordable and in an ok location. The huge problem I have with UVU is that the arts are treated like a red headed stepchild. You can compare UVU to other Utah schools all you want, but the school is great from not having to walk outside between classes, it's bright, open, not gloomy, & clean, to having excellent opportunities for a wide variety of majors, instructors, internships, & smaller classes which means you can actually interact with your teachers! I like the smaller class sizes (I was at BYU for 2 years before transferring to UVU). People like to think UVU is easier than BYU but that is not always the case. It really depends on the class. GE classes are way easier at UVU but otherwise the difficulty level is about the same. It was my first choice, even though I got into a couple private universities. I really like how the majority of people are friendly. If you're looking for trouble, you'll find it (there are some weird people) but I've also met a lot of cool people. It's a nice campus and all buildings are connected, which is great when it snows. ...Continue reading

Very modern school, I love how all the buildings are connected so you don't have to walk out in the cold as much. Cheap tuition. Great professors that provide a very high quality education. Received a two year degree here that has paid for itself ten times over in the business world. I am now returning to finish my four year degree. Amazing school, you are only limited by how much work you are willing to put in. The class sizes are small, the average being around 23:1 studentteacher ratio. The teachers truly care about their students. The biggest impact UVU has had on me is its focus on personal development. Get involved with the school and you will receive opportunities that no other school will be able to offer. ...Continue reading

I chose to come to UVU from out of state and was impressed by the campus, professors, and amount of opportunities here. Most of the classes are small, so you get more one-on-one time with your professors. You can get everywhere inside (except for classes that are off campus). It is a great place to start your college education. Depending on your major, its a great university to finish college. ...Continue reading

I actually love and feel very comfortable at UVU. I graduate next year. I have had excellent and well educated professors. Most of my classes only have 30 students, which gives me a better opportunity to learn, and I feel like all my professors know me. The school is growing and had gained some reputation. The school does lack in school spirit and sports. ...Continue reading

A great university! This school doesn't get the credit that it deserves, but it does have great opportunities for many professions. All-in-all a very fine school to be at! ...Continue reading

This class is so easy. Once you earn enough points you don't have to come. Also all of the points are available online so you really don't have to go to class. The lectures in class were sometimes interesting and cool. Most of the learning is on your own. Only take this for the credit. Easy A. ...Continue reading

Professor Jensen has probably been my least favorite Spanish teacher. I didn't always feel like he put his best effort into preparing for class or that he cared as much about student success like I have experienced with my other teachers. I wouldn't say that this class was super hard but he didn't always give you a lot of time to prepare for tests ...Continue reading

Liz is awesome! I would definitely take english from her! Although at the beginning there were a ton of papers, it mellowed out near the end. LIz is from New York and although she throws in a lot of her feminist fews into her classes and assignments, she is a good and interesting teacher. She is always willing to help and work with everyone always! ...Continue reading

Professor Oltrogge was an awesome professor! First off he dropped the lowest test score out of the 4 (not including the final), as well as dropped the lowest 2 quiz scores. There was a quiz every week, but they were based off of the power points he teaches from and lets you download so they are easy. Hard tests, but he curves them which helps! ...Continue reading
