Two speakers are driven by the same oscillator of frequencyf. They are located a distance d from eachother on a vertical pole. A man walks straight towardthe lower speaker in a direction perpendicular to thepole as shown in Figure P18.72. (a) How many timeswill he hear a minimum in sound intensity? (b) Howfar is he from the pole at these moments? Let v representthe speed of sound and assume that the grounddoes not reflect sound. The mans ears are at the samelevel as the lower speaker.
