?Often the determination of the molar mass of a compound by osmotic pressure measurement

Chapter 12, Problem 139P

(choose chapter or problem)

Often the determination of the molar mass of a compound by osmotic pressure measurement is carried out at several different concentrations to get a more reliable average value. From the following data for the osmotic pressure of poly(methyl methacrylate) in toluene at 25°C, determine graphically the molar mass of the polymer. [Hint: Rearrange Equation (12.8) so that 𝜋 is expressed in terms of c, which is the number of grams of the solute per liter of solution.]
