 REACTION WITH ACIDS:

BASE + ACID SALT + WATER

NaOH + HCl  NaCl + H2O

Reaction with salt:

FeCl3 + 3NaOH  Fe(OH)3 + 3NaCl

2CrCl3 + 6NaOH  2Cr(OH)3 + 6NaCl
