What is dynamic chemical equilibrium?
Solution 7Q :
There are some reactions that are reversible in nature, i.e they go in both forward and reverse direction. These forward and reverse reactions occur at the same time and sometimes do not stop. Such reactions are called as dynamic reactions. During such reactions, when the rate of the forward reaction is equal to the rate of the reverse reaction, the reaction is said to have reached equilibrium and this is known as dynamic chemical equilibrium.
It could be said as a chemical equilibrium that exists between a forward reaction and a reverse reaction, where the rate of the reaction are equal. Here the reactants are converted to products and products are converted to reactants at sametime at an equal and constant rate.
