Chapter 3 Problem 11PC

Question

Problem 11PC

These are “plug-in-the-number” type activities to familiarize yon with the equations that link the concepts of physics. They are mainly one-step substitutions and are less challenging than the Problem.

Calculate the acceleration of a bus that goes from 10 km/h to a speed of 50 km/h in 10 seconds.

Solution

Answer: Acceleration= Rate of change of Velocity / time

Step 1:So here , Initial velocity = 10 km/hour

                        Final velocity = 50 km/hour

                            In  Time = 10 seconds
